On 6 July 2022, NPA Vietnam awarded certificates to eight senior national staff members from our mine action programs in Quang Binh, Quang Tri and Thua Thien Hue provinces following their completion of an intensive course on International Mine Action Standards Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Level III. Before receiving their certification, these staff members have undergone an additional six months of field observation and assessment. With this EOD Level III certification, they have become some of the highest-trained EOD technicians in Vietnam who are qualified to deal with residual explosive ordnance in the long run. Congratulations to these staff members of NPA Vietnam on their important achievement.
